The Eagles were defeated by the Dallas Cowboys 33–13 on the road, their second consecutive defeat. After Dallas scored on its first four possessions, the Eagles gave up three turnovers and quickly built a 24-6 lead at the half. The Eagles saw some hope when rookie defensive tackle Jalen Carter recovered a fumble by Dak Prescott in the third quarter, but it was insufficient.
Next week, the Eagles will travel again to play the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football. Following their Sunday loss to the 49ers, the Seahawks are now 6-7 and outside looking in when it comes to the playoff picture.
- The Cowboys took the lead with a 13-yard touchdown on their first possession. On third-and-2, CeeDee Lamb was found by Dak Prescott for a wide-open score. The play was initially flagged for offensive holding, but the referees later decided there was no offensive holding. (14-0 Eagles - 7 Cowboys).
- Just outside the red zone and with the Eagles in the driving seat, Jalen Hurts botched a quarterback draw play. Donovan Wilson extracted the ball by force and brought it back. Hurts had now lost four fumbles this season.
- The dominance of Brandon Aubrey's rookie season persisted. The kicker easily made a 60-yard field goal to give the Cowboys a two-point advantage. Throughout his short NFL career, Aubrey has remained flawless when trying field goals. Eagles 0 - Cowboys 10.

Two costly Kelee Ringo penalties, both on the same play, gave the Cowboys great field position as they quickly marched down the field. (Cowboys 24 - Eagles 6)
Third Quarter:
- Safety Reed Blankenship is out with a concussion after leaving the game in the second quarter.
- Desperate for points early in the half, A.J. Brown felt the opening. Stephon Gilmore dropped the ball just before Brown and the knee hit the ground. Damone Clark recovered the ball. The Eagles continued to force a three.
- TOUCHDOWN! Fletcher Cox knocked the ball out of quarterback Dak Prescott's hands and Jalen Carter was there to take it and score! The 42-yarder was Carterand#039's first career touchdown and brought the Birds back into the game briefly. (Cowboys 24 - Eagles 13)
- Automatic Aubrey hit another field goal, this time from 59 yards. Two Cowboys penalties pushed them into the end zone. (Cowboys 27 - Eagles 13)
