Hertha BSC, a football team in the second level, will play 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the quarterfinals of the 2023–24 DFB Cup. This is what happened in Dortmund on Sunday night at the raffle.

In the league, this combo was exclusive to Saturday. 2-1 at Kaiserslautern, Hertha prevailed. In the DFB Cup, these two sides have already faced off three times. Two victories went to the Palatinate squad, and one to the Berlin team, but the home team prevailed on each occasion.

The last week of January (January 30–31) or the first week of February (February 6–7) of the next year will see the cup match at the Berlin Olympic Stadium. We do not yet know the precise dates of the schedule.

The other matches are FC St. Pauli vs Fortuna Düsseldorf, Bayer Leverkusen versus VfB Stuttgart, and 1. FC Saarbrücken versus Borussia Mönchengladbach.
